Saturday Clothes Closet &
green Cafe

This Clothes Closet is open on the second Saturday of every month from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Green Cafe is open during this Clothes Closet serving up a FREE light, healthy breakfast for shoppers and our neighbors. You may also sign up for our monthly Food Sense program at most Clothes Closets.

Clothing donations accepted on Tuesdays & Fridays 11am to 1pm

Please come to the Genesee Street door and ring the bell so a volunteer will know you are there.

Thursday evening

Our Evening Clothes Closet is open one Thursday a month (usually the 3rd or 4th Thursday) from
3-5:30 p.m. During this time, a FREE family-style neighborhood dinner is available for shoppers and our neighbors. The menu changes with the seasons and holidays.

Special Events

Neighborhood Bread Program

Our Neighborhood bread ministry is our newest ministry and was established to fill a need as more and more West Side grocery stores closed. The program provides bread and sometimes cookies and crackers for 25-cent donation each or free. The bread ministry is offered 3 times a month - during the Clothes Closets and at Food $en$e deliveries. Neighbors are also free to call the church whenever they need bread.

CHRISTMAS CLOTHES CLOSET

Each December, we hold a yearly Community Christmas Clothes Closet event that includes a visit with Santa, free breakfast and hot cocoa, a reading of the Nativity story, free books and more. Children and parents can also purchase small gifts for their loved ones at a discounted cost. Each child attending receives a stuffed animal, a scarf, pair of mittens, hat, and/or a winter's coat at no charge.
